International Tree Climbing Championship Events

The International Tree Climbing Championship (ITCC) program of the ISA consists of numerous events that lead up to the ITCC World Championship. These events help qualify climbers to compete at the annual ITCC held prior to the ISA Annual International Conference.

ISA Chapters and Associate Organizations, also known as components, all over the world hold tree climbing competitions. The male and female winners of these events are then invited to represent their organization at the International Championship. To see a list of organizations who hold competitions see the Component Events section of the website.

In addition, components are invited to send representatives to one of three regional events - Asia Pacific, Europe, and North America. Each of these regional events also qualify one male and one female to compete at the International competition. To learn more about the regional events, view the Regional Events section of this website.
